2nd Story at Open Books

2nd Story is thrilled to help celebrate the anniversary of Open Books, a nonprofit social venture that enriches lives through reading, writing and used books! For this special event, 2nd Story has crafted four brand new stories around the ideas of reading, writing, listening and talking that explore literacy on multiple levels: how do we teach, how do we learn; what is our understanding of own own history, culture, and relationships; and how can a single word, a sentence, a page, and a story to help us connect with other people and hopefully, within those connections, understand ourselves a little better in the bargain.
Storytellers for this event are Khanisha Foster, Deb Lewis, Bobby Biedrzycki, and Lauren Marks. Director is Matt Miller.
