COWBOY BEBOP: The Series

Cowboy Bebop is finally coming to Blu-ray on December 16th! To celebrate we're screening the first 4 Episodes on our big screen:

The Bebop crew is just trying to make a buck. This motley lot of intergalactic loners teams up to track down fugitives and turn them in for cold hard cash. Spike is a hero whose cool façade hides a dark and deadly past. The pilot Jet is a bruiser of a brute who can't wait to collect the next bounty. Faye Valentine is a femme fatale prone to breaking hearts and separating fools from their money. Along for the ride are the brilliant, but weird, hacker Ed and a super-genius Welsh Corgi named Ein.

On their own, any one of them is likely to get lost in the sprawl of space, but together, they're they most entertaining gang of bounty hunters in the year 2071.

Program:

Session 1: Asteroid Blues
Jet and Spike track down a dealer of an addictive drug that induces berserker rages in its users.

Session 2: Stray Dog Strut
Spike and Jet are hired to recover an unusual item that has been stolen from a research laboratory. Spike is led on a wild chase, first by the thief...and then by the item itself!

Session 3: Honky Tonk Women
Faye Valentine is forced by Gordon, the head of a powerful casino, to do an illegal exchange. If she can do this successfully, her debts will be eliminated. Spike and Jet's new bounty is a man named Abdul Hakim, who is wanted for stealing a briefcase with a lab subject in it.

Session 4: Gateway Shuffle
Faye is stranded on the orbit of Jupiter with no fuel or money. Eventually, she finds a ship drifting by only to see it damaged with a dying pilot. Meanwhile, Jet and Spike track down a bounty who heads an Eco-terrorist association.
