This is a fundraiser for helping to keep The South Bay Spot open at the time of Transition.
Starting from the time the doors open at 4:00 PM PST until we close at midnight, there will be 4 events going on --
-- From 4 to 7 PM we'll be having a dinner and a social where attendees can can mingle with each other, socialize, relax and get in the mood for the things to come. Yes, if you want to do some quiet play, you can do that too. Also at this time, there'll be the first of the two silent auctions that will be going on that evening.
-- At 6 PM and for the rest of the evening, our very own X-man, a professional DJ of renown, will be entertaining us with groovy tunes to entertain us as we finish up our dinners, get more active socially, and through all the wonderful play that we'll be doing for the rest of the evening
-- Starting at 7 PM (and for the rest of the evening till midnight) you and you partner(s) can play to your heart's delight with music supplied by our very own Xman who'll have music suited to the mood of the play. There will also be the second silent auction going on at this time.

The reason for this is as a FUNDRAISER for The South Bay Spot in order for the SPOT to be able to remain open at the time when Heart's Delight Studios quits operation -- see the FetLife thread, "The State of The South Bay Spot Call to Action" for more information.
This is your chance to help out your South Bay Spot so it can serve the Community and you, the members. Let's make it happen... and have some fun and good times in the process.
This party is open to all registered members of the South Bay Spot and their accompanying guests.
UPDATE:
The South Bay Spot is expanding the guest policy for this event and potentially future events. For this event, we will allow up to 5 guests per member and if you do not know a member, please contact Uncle Abdul or chelgrrl and we can put you on a Board approved guest list.
We are considering potential modifications of the guesting and orientation policies and will keep you updated on those changes. This may be a trial run for a potential change in the orientation process.
Feel free to bring a blanket and your pillow to be comfy in the Social Tent.

Members need your membership card and your government-issued photo ID to check in. Guests need a government-issued photo ID and will be asked to sign a waiver.
Also check for volunteer openings in the South Bay Spot Volunteers group. Volunteers can get in free in exchange for a 2-hour shift. We also offer 1/2 price entrance with a 1-hour volunteer shift!!
