Linda Greenlaw: Adventures at Sea
Linda Greenlaw hadn't been bluewater fishing for 10 years, not since the harrowing events chronicled in The Perfect Storm and The Hungry Ocean, but her lobster traps weren't paying off, so she captained a boat for a season of swordfishing. And the adventures began almost immediately, from an ancient rusty ship to a stint in jail. Greenlaw, author of Seaworthy, tells a story about human nature and the nature around us, and about learning what can be controlled and what is beyond our human will. Presented by Town Hall with Elliott Bay Book Company.
