Stage Combat for Physical Performers -- April 14 - 28, 2010
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of unarmed stage combat, providing them with the skills to safely execute theatrical fight choreography. Aside from learning basic techniques (such as successful partnering, targeting, falls, pushes, punches, blocks, kicks, chokes, etc.) there will also be an opportunity to apply these techniques through scene work. The course is great for those who have little or no previous experience with stage combat, or anyone who wants a refresher in the techniques.
