KiDROCKERS presents The Undisputed Heavyweights and James Levy
KIDROCKERS is pleased to announce its second set of shows will take place on Sunday, February 11 at 1 and 3 pm at The Underground Lounge, 995 West End Ave. (between 106th and 107th street), NY, NY. *********************************************************** KIDROCKERS brings some of the most engaging and vital artists in indie music and comedy to children and their parents. These ALL AGES shows are designed to expose families to the vibrant music scene. Artists will perform original (not specifically made for children) songs in a manner that is both authentic and kid-friendly. ************************************************************* "We love to hear great new music -- and so do our kids." says KIDROCKERS founder Beth Rockers. "We wanted to create an opportunity for kids and parents to discover artists and get to see them play live in a safe and comfortable environment." *********************************************************** The THE UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHTS will appear on both February 11th shows. It's an Vaudevillian acoustic/rock/blues show, or something. Casey's stage persona is equal parts James Brown, Elvis Presley, and Bono. He struts, he preens, his gestures wildly. Heck, the guy wears sunglasses on stage and gets away with it. But then comes the surprise, etched in cursive on the head of a pin.
