Come and meet other Slow Food NNJ members and learn how you can get more involved with our chapter. Learn about Grass Farming from 3 local farmers who raise animals through a panel discussion and Q&A.
A moderated panel of the 3 Grass Farmers: Paul Dalrymple, Plaid Piper Farm Kevin Matey Kemmerer, Stone Creek Farm Rich DeFebio, Sunnyside Hill Farm
You will also be able to purchase pastured and grass fed eggs, beef, and pork.
Learn about the Growing Minds Program Partnership Natasha Parilla, teacher, Maple Ave School, Newark will share info on the successful program
Talk to CSA Farmers and have the opportunity to buy a share: John Krueger, Starbrite Farm & CSA Johann Rinkens, Griggstown Quail Farm & CSA Tara Bowers & Matt Pearson, Howling Wolf Full Food Farm
A Local Foods Picnic Lunch featuring Vegan, Vegetarian dishes, & Plaid Piper Farm Roasted Turkey. And more surprises.
The Annual member meeting is open to members and non-members who are interested in joining Slow Food. $10 fee for Slow Food members(with dues up-to-date) $20 fee for non-members
