Literary Death Match SF, Ep. 27
This month's readers include a lot of award winners. Tania Katan wrote the award-winning memoir, My One Night Stand With Cancer, that inspired Melissa Ethridge to say: "This book rocks! It's playful, passionate, and downright beautiful." For LDM SF, EP. 24, Ali Liebegott literally stepped in off the street to judge performance, and we wanted her back to read from her award-winning books The Beautifully Worthless and The IHOP Papers. Chris Colin is the award-winning author of What Really Happened to the Class of '93. Finally, Chicken John ran for the biggest award in San Francsico: Mayor. Read about it in his new book Fail to Win: Essays of Engineered Disperfection.
Bestowing the greatest award possible will be Rumpstress Julie Greicius, 826 Valencia pirate store manager Justin Carder, and memoirist Rebecca Walker.
Our pre-orders start at $5 (it's $10 at the door), and the higher price points ($10-20) represent an opportunity to donate and support the LDM.
Also, you can subscribe to the LDM. For $55 you can enter any LDM worldwide for a year!
NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
