Hometown Hootenanny: A HOOT Radio Holiday
A Christmas Eve snowstorm has shut down Hooterville's airport and left a plane full of 1960s country music superstars stranded. The solution? Deliver them to the HOOT Radio station for an on-air version of the concert they won't be able to perform at their destination.
Deejay Bull Shooter (Cal Winston) invites Merle Haggard (Buck Hammock), Johnny Horton (Dan Leal), Wanda Jackson (Tammy Christensen), Ernest Tubb (Liam Fitzgerald) and Jerry Lee Lewis (Duane Trueblood) to send their Christmas wishes across the airwaves.
Hear these stars' signature hits plus their favorite Christmas songs in this special Hometown Hootenanny presentation.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in Monroe.
Free parking is available adjacent to the auditorium, located at 639 W. Main St. in Monroe.
