Back by popular demand, FUNK FILHARMONIK returns one last time in 2014 to KJ FARRELL'S on Monday December 15th!
Come and get another taste of the holiday this year On Monday December 15th, as KJ Farrell's presents a 'FUNKSGIVING #29' REPRISE! with your favorite funk band FUNK FILHARMONIK as they celebrate their 29th Anniversary! This time around, it's better LATE then never, and it's back in Bellmore, NY where it all started almost 3 decades ago.
ABOUT THE BAND:
For almost 30 years FUNK FILHARMONIK has been a magnet for music fans and fellow musicians of all types in the NY Metropolitan area. The music speaks for itself when they cover bands like 'Earth Wind & Fire', 'Chicago', 'Tower of Power' as well as their own arrangements from FUNK FILHARMONIK'S CD entitled 'Everybody Get Down'. Please join us as we celebrate this renowned band's 29th Annual 'Funksgiving' Show, Tuesday November 25th. Back in Bellmore N.Y. where it all began! FUNK FILHARMONIK'S performances have become an increasingly rare occurrence due to their individual touring schedules with marquee musical acts like: Diana Ross, Marc Anthony, The Original Blues Brothers Band, Huey Lewis, Live at Daryl's House, Joan Osborne, The Young Presidents, Richard Bona, Robert Davi, Michael Cavanaugh, as well as Broadway and Off Broadway Musicals. The fellas are known to surprise audiences with a spontaneous tune, arrangement and even special guests. The jovial camaraderie that exudes from the stage is contagious. This is must see band & performance!

K.J. Farrell's is Nassau County's premier Live Music Venue, offering Long Islander's a chance to listen to premier local/regional bands in an intimate setting.
