A Grand Night for Singing is a musical revue showcasing the music of Richard Rodgers and the lyrics of Oscar Hammerstein II.
Featuring songs from such lesser-known works as Allegro, Me and Juliet, State Fair, and Pipe Dream, modest successes like Flower Drum Song, and hits like Carousel, Oklahoma!, The King and I, South Pacific, Cinderella and The Sound of Music. It was nominated for two Tony Awards, for Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical, and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revue." This show was previously staged over the summer to benefit area arts organizations, including Bradford Little Theatre, Palmer Opera House, and Fountain Arts Center.
