Illumni's 5th Anniversary Free Holiday Concerts! - Seattle
Join us for a concert of Greatest Hits from Illumni's past 5 years. You'll hear your old favorites, as well as a few you might have missed. There will be a Holiday Sing-A-Long, and the audience will get to make the WORLD PREMIER of a new Christmas Carol by composer Andrew Hawryluk. Our concerts are fun, beautiful, and approachable for the whole family, and all the kids will be invited up on stage to sing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer with Jet Cities!
Illumni Men's Chorale is one of Seattle's leading ensembles. In 5 short years, they've premiered almost 40 new works and their commitment to the idea of making all their concerts free has landed them an interview on CNN/Headline News. They've appeared before the NW ACDA Convention, in concert with Harvard Glee Club and the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, opened for Rodney Atkin and Little Big Town, and ever had a successful appearance on Season 6 of America's Got Talent.
The group is made up of a mix of full time professional singers and choral hobbyist. Their motto is "Just Sing!", and their mission is to expand the audience for choral music through the use of innovative fundraising and programming. More at: www.illumnimenschorale.com.
