A Little East of Jordan (The Geography of Healing): 8pm, $15 tickets general, $10 for students with student ID at the door.
Commissioned by Spark and Echo Arts, A Little East of Jordan (The Geography of Healing) is inspired by the first works of wonder-worker Elisha, and uses theater, dance, crowd-sourced text, and anthropology to explore the dialogue between our bodies, minds, and space as we consciously undergo change. If healing is a place, what its topography? A Little East of Jordanfeatures Laura Hartle, Stephanie Willing, and Morgan Zipf-Meister, and was created in a collaboration between the performers, director/choreographer Patrice Miller, and those who submitted their stories to the project.
