When Scott Hansen gets on stage, the audience knows within an instant that they are not watching television. The crowd readily realizes it is going to be a one-of-a- kind comedy experience. This super-sized comic takes stage with a teddy bear demeanor, which draws the unsuspecting crowd into his whimsical world. Scott has a unique way of dealing with a live audience that seems above suspicion. Innocent and casual, his repartee is like talking with a neighbor over the fence as he grills a cheeseburger.
Scott is the unprecedented, 5-time winner of the Minnesota Comedian of the Year award. He has made millions laugh with successful national TV appearances on HBO, Showtime, A&E and E!. His 20 plus years of laugh-filled, performances have set attendance records at comedy clubs, colleges, and corporate events nationwide. Creatively, Scott has written comedy material that has been performed on the Tonight Show or David Letterman by Jay Leno, Louie Anderson and Roseanne Barr. As an actor Scott starred in the short thriller Warped which was directed by Roger Nygaard ( Trekkies, Mind of the Married Man ) which won the Houston International Film Festival and in the feature film Crossing the Bridge directed by Mike Binder ( The Upside of Anger).
