Handel's Messiah
The San Fernando Valley Master Chorale and chamber orchestra, Terry Danne Artistic Director, will be hosting Handel's 'Messiah' with Dr. Donald Caldwell, Guest Director, and resident soloists including sopranos Yayra Sanchez, and Tanya Edwards, Mezzo Sopranos Lindsay Patterson and Theresa Danne, Tenors Jeff Johnson and Kevin Story, and Baritones Don Caldwell and Colm Estridge.
The Master Chorale has long been a fixture in the Valley, and, most recently, has performed with Artist-in Residence and world-renown Persian pop star Saeed Mohamadi. Their 25th anniversary season opened with the Rutter 'Requiem' and will include a performance with Mr. Mohamadi in March. The season will conclude with world premier of the original oratorio 'Moses' by Composer-in-Residence Sergio Barer.
