Playhouse Creatures 2014 Fundraising Drive!
Happy Holidays!! Playhouse Creatures hopes that 2014 was a wonderful year for all of you- it was for us!
Since January, we have had programming in every month! We produced two main stage shows, "Charlotte the Destroyer," and "The Forgetting Curve"; hosted our 2nd Annual Tennessee Williams Festival (with an all-star panel of directors- and over 150 attendees!); staged our Fifth Annual Page2Stage Festival (the week-long festival broke previous attendance records!); and began our year-long New Play Development Workshop of Jerrod Bogard's "Top Load."
We also continued our unique community outreach commitment with our "Little Creatures Act Out" children's theatre camps, a Red Cross blood drive, presented David Harrell's one-man show "A Little Potato and Hard to Peel" as a free benefit to the families of Nazareth House, and this month we introduce our "Creatures Serving Seniors Program" at the Greenwich House Senior Center.
Whew! How did we do all that? It wasn't easy- but it only happened because of your support.
2015 promises to be an even BIGGER season for us. In March, we take the huge leap of moving to our first genuine Off-Broadway performance contract. Company member, Eric Tucker (nominee for Drama Desk and Lortel Awards of directing) will helm PCTC's production of the darkly comic, "Hunter Gatherers." This will be a NYC premiere, and will be staged at the historic Duo Theatre on East 4th Street.
Exciting? Yes! But VERY expensive.
That is where you can make a huge difference. In this season of giving, we need your support more than ever. We ask you to dig deep and help us take PCTC to the next level. PCTC has grown as quickly as it has because of you! In our five years we have provided theatre to over almost 10,000 patrons--because of you; we have reached out into the community and served those less fortunate- because of you.
PCTC is YOUR theatre company. So, please help us reach our year-end giving goal of $25,000. You can do this with a generous TAX-FREE donation. That's right. Your support is 100% tax-deductible.
Any amount helps! You can make your tax deductible donation here online, or you can mail a check to:

Stay tuned- 2015 is almost here, and it's going to be our BIGGEST and BUSIEST season ever!
Wishing you and yours the happiest, healthiest, holiday season,
Joseph W. Rodriguez, Producing Artistic Director
Megan O'Leary, Associate Artistic Director
