The Joy of Cheese d.b.a Six Pack Presents Make it FUNKY!
There's no middle ground when it comes to washed rind cheeses either people love them or well, not so much. March is for the latter at The Joy of Cheese. On March 2nd, at 7, at dba Brooklyn, 113 North 7th St., in the first of four events in March we will focus on seven of the very best washed rind cheeses available in NY. There will be cheeses from familiar locales like France, Switzerland, Vermont, and Italy, as well as unusual ones like Ireland and Virginia. In addition Ray Deter will present seven beers, none of which will be particularly aromatic, but all will be full of flavor to match such aggressive cheese. Tickets are $20.
