The Children's Wood Charity operates on The Children's Wood and North Kelvinside Meadow in G20 area of Glasgow between Maryhill and North Kelvinside. The area includes a wild meadow and a wooded area that has been described as the 'last wild space in the West End of Glasgow' and as an 'Outdoor Community Centre' by the children's author Julia Donaldson. The Children's Wood organises outdoor activities and community events for all encouraging outdoor learning, healthy lifestyles and a stronger community. Our charity has organised regular outdoor and community events since May 2012, and has benefitted local school children, families and the community as a whole.
