Lately, Michael, a middle aged widower has been seeing and hearing strange things late at night. Nightmares, or is his house is haunted? At the Cobh Literary Festival, he meets Lena, an author of books on the supernatural who could possibly accept Michael's new 'reality', but Lena's attention is caught up with Nicholas (Aidan Quinn), a fellow novelist with whom she has a history. As the festival progresses, the trajectories of these three people draw them into a life-altering collision.
