We Are Not Amused II
Ever since we kicked 'em out, the Brits have been finding their way back into the USA. Today, the British Broadcasting Company has invaded our TV screens armed with period costume, the bon-est of mots, and wit so dry it hurts. Join us, then, and we ruffle a few knickers and set the teakettle singing by sending up some of the best of what British TV has to offer.
The Broadcast Listing for the Evening: THIS JUST IN: Liberty Rose will be coming from Philly with a routine that's truly newsworthy. Crimson Kitty and JZ Bich return to Excelsior as a certain fabulous duo. Moe Cheezmo may just learn a thing or two about being a perfect host from Charles Stunning, so long as she doesn't mention the war. Taylor Sweet returns with a new act . . . and another . . . and another. Miranda Raven is making her debut on our stage, but we promised not to give any spoilers. Velvet Kensington will be on hand to hear all your sins, and the role of "Ruby Solitaire" will be played by the stripper cousin of one of the greatest enigmas in British history. Finally, Petite Renard, in her first time on Excelsior's stage as gogo performer and pick up artist, will blow you away like you're the Spanish Armada.
This Anglophilial, eccydiscal event occurs December 18th, with broadcast starting at 9pm at the The Parkside Lounge Public House at 317 E. Houston, with an all-colonial cast including:
Liberty Rose Charles Stunning Taylor Sweet Velvet Kensington Crimson Kitty JZ Bich Miranda Raven & Ruby Solitaire with our host, Moe Cheezmo and gogo by Petite Renard
