Pandura, the planet spectacular. Gloriously imagined, awesomely rendered, and definitely worth an incredible look. A lot of hype surrounding this movie-movies will never be the same, 15 years in the making, etc. etc.-but it is pretty good entertainment. You have to see it anyway for the technology, and to be able to talk about it with your friends. We saw it in 3-D but after a while the glasses got to be boring and distracting and we watched at least half of it in 2D, our eyes constantly making adjustment. We recommend the 2D experience. The film has a nice environmental message, absolutely gorgeous graphics, and the worst badass Marine colonel you'll ever encounter. The sacred seeds are an inspired creation, the work of genius, and the rare metal everyone is plundering the planet for has the cleverest name ever-unobtainium.
