Piano Recital
The concert will be about 1 1/2 hours in length. After the concert join us for a light winter dinner for a small donation.

About the Artist

Born in Buenos Aires Argentina, Ana Fau started her musical studies with Professor Aldo Antognazzi from the national conservatory of Buenos Aires, and Guillermo Scarabino, current conductor at the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires.

At age 18 she was already recording for the National Radio of Argentina and the Municipal Radio of Buenos Aires, at the time she concertized through the province of Buenos Aires including the San Martin Cultural Center, halls âEnrique Muino and J.B. Alberdi.â

Shortly after, she obtained a talent based scholarship to enter the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester, New York.

In 1994 she entered the âGnessin Academy of Music and Pedgogyâ, Moscow, Russia.

In 1996 she was accepted at the legendary St. Petersburg Conservatory of music, Leningrad, Russia, from where great musicians such as Tchaykovsky, Mussorsky and Prokofiev graduated. Here, Ana Fau obtained her Masterâs Degree in Piano Performance, Chamber music, and Pedagogy.

Her concert engagements include Moscowâs House of the nations, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Argentina, Saint Petersburgâs National Geographic concert hall, Pavlosk palace Concert series.

Her appearances in Europe include Paris, France, Dresden, Germany. In the U.S.A. she has performed in Washington D.C. at the Pan American Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Series.

In Chicago, she presented piano recitals at the Spertus institute of Jewish Studies, and she has been broadcasted nation wide through WFMT 98.7, the Classical Radio Station of Network Chicago, while performing at the Myra Hess Memorial Concerts at the Chicago Cultural center.

Ms. Fau is scheduled to appear with the National Symphony Orchestra of Honduras, at the National Theater of Tegucigalpa, and other concert appearances in October-November include Madrid, Spain (Ateneo Theater), Terni, Italy and Freiberg, Germany.
