The Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring The Harlem Ambassadors to Cheyenne for a fun evening of family friendly entertainment. This event features our local team, The Roger Mills Roughnecks, competing with the Harlem Ambassadors basketball team.
The game will be held in the Cheyenne High School Gym on April 10th at 7:00 p.m. There will be a concession stand with lots of great food. Fans will be able to purchase Harlem Ambassadors merchandise. The team will be available to sign autographs after the game.
The Harlem Ambassador team players are:
Lade Majic.This future national Hall-of-Famer has played more show basketball games than any woman in history and has performed with the Ambassadors in all 50 states and 20 foreign countries. Majic starred collegiately at the University of Missouri where she was a 4-year starter. While playing for the Tigers, she earned Kodak All-American honors and most recently, was inducted into the University of Missouri Hall of Fame. Prior to joining the Ambassadors, she played professionally in Israel and also toured with another "Harlem" show team.
Nicholas Simpson -Two-time All-Conference at Kirtland Community College, All-American at Vermont Technical College
Led the NAIA and USCAA in scoring (29.5)
Anthony Jackson - All-Tournament team, 2nd Team All-Conference
Led region in scoring
