HAY FEVER
This fall at the Art Theater we find ourselves in 1925 England. This is an era when radio broadcasting, penicillin, refrigeration, and the first traffic signal are launching us into the modern age. The roaring twenties add a dash of hedonistic frivolity as Coward's unique comedic voice speaks to this exciting time. Double-time seductions and a dash of bad manners leave our characters dazed and aghast as the morally unconcerned meet the morally appalled and a quiet weekend turns out to be anything but!
