In Antarctica, Where It Is Very Warm takes place in Palmer Station, Antarctica. After recently arrived plumber Neil is found face down in the snow, a young, pregnant scientist named Vicki must determine for their employer whether it was an accident or suicide attempt. The two of them try to find warmth in the coldest place on earth.
PERFORMANCES:Preview on Friday, Sept 19th, Opens Saturday, Sept 20th and runs Thursdays-Saturdays until Saturday, October 11th. All performances will be at 8pm. LENGTH OF SHOW:2 hours with 1 intermission PRICE: $15 online, $18 at the door

Jona Tarlin (Playwright) was raised in Silicon Valley and currently resides in Chinatown, NYC. Most recently his short play THE LITTLE MERMAN was presented at The Kraine Theater. His monologue CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE was performed as part of the Soul Food Monologue series for Forward Theatre Co. in Madison, WI. His short play I CAN HAS PLAY was performed at the inaugural ESPA* Detention at Jimmys no. 43 and was the winner of The Brick Theater's Winter 10-Minute Play Fest. His play MAMAS, DON'T LET YOUR CFOS GROW UP TO BE COWBOYS was performed at Sarah Lawrence College, where he graduated with a BA in Theater and the Lipkin Prize for Playwriting.
Kyle Metzger is a director and actor, the Artistic Director of The Glass Eye, and a teaching artist. He primarily develops and directs new plays and devised work. From Dec 2012 to Jan 2014, Kyle served as Producing Artistic Director of FRESH PRODUCE'd NYC, a monthly new play workshop. Recent directing projects include work at the Signature, terraNOVA Collective, Culture Project, Tenement Street Workshop, Theatre Row, New Georges, Ugly Rhino, Flying Carpet, Caps Lock Theatre, Perchance to Dream, and Play on Words Productions. Kyle has performed onstage with FringeNYC, terraNOVA Collective, Gallery Players, Theatre Row, Hartford Stage, Goodspeed, and Ivoryton Playhouse.
