Experience Architecture Week - Pecha Kucha Presentation & Event Leader Appreciation Event
In appreciation to the AIACV event leaders who created Experience Architecture Week, all are welcome to join in a casual evening of Pecha Kucha presentations, good company and conversation at the Federalist Public House. This innovative restaurant and bar is comprised of seven 40-foot-high shipping containers, all creatively arranged on an alley-loaded lot.

What is a Pecha Kucha? Drawing it's name from the Japanese
term for "chit-chat", it rests on a presentation format based on 20 images in 20 seconds. The format keeps presentations concise and moves the program at a rapid pace.

Sat Oct 18,  5 - 9 pm, FREE
Federalist Public House, 2009 N St.,Sacramento

Sponsored by:  Milgard Windows & Doors, Inside Publications, SD Deacon/Hogue, Mohawk, and SMUD. Special thanks to Will Rodriguez audio/visual services.

Experience Architecture Week is a public-outreach event designed to facilitate greater transparency with the public in how architects create our built environment and how it impacts their daily lives; to create an ongoing dialogue to inform a distinct, regional, architectural identity; and to highlight existing relationships between the region and its architecture. The 2014 Experience Architecture Week is scheduled from October 10th-October 19th.

This year's event features eleven events over 10 days, and features the region's first Canstruction build benefiting the Sacramento Food Bank. Click here to learn more about Experience Architecture events.
