Sustainability Series: Mitigating and Adapting to Climate Change in Colorado
With the EPA's Clean Power Plan Proposal to reduce carbon pollution from existing power plants recently released for public feedback, it's clear that Colorado is already a leader among states for strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Join us at The Alliance Center for the August Sustainability Series as we explore current strategies in Colorado to mitigate and adapt to climate change; from an overview of the EPA's proposed rules to the release of Denver's aggressive Climate Change Adaptation Plan and beyond. Anyone working on or interested in climate change mitigation is encouraged to attend and contribute to the conversation!
