The City, The Big Apple, Gotham, The Capital of the World, The Center of the Universe. New York City has almost as many nicknames as it does crazy buildings, crazy events, and just plain crazies. Times Square may have been sanitized for your protection, but Excelsior Burlesque shows you the seamy side is still lurking out there: this time in the back room of the Parkside Lounge. Start spreading the news: we're stripping today.
See ALL the world famous sights! Grandmafun kicks up her heels in a way that Radio City would never allow. La Maia does something everyone in the City wants to do in the summer: Escape. Minnie d'Moocha charges a little more $2.50 on entry, but she never idles. The Incredible, Edible Akynos utterly fails to keep anyone in the audience from getting wet. The Living Statue Galatea reminds us that Lady Liberty IS a French girl, after all. Pistola de Lux may have started in the gutter, but she's prepared to claw and bite her way to the top of the food chain, and Ruby Solitaire's act will leave you with an itch you just can't stop scratching.
