John Kribs (guitar /banjo), Arlin Greene (bass), Doug Moody (fiddle), Orion Kribs (mandolin /guitar),collectively known as "The Trophy Husbands", are a powerful combination of instrumental virtuosity and explosive vocal harmonies. As four of the North Country's most highly regarded musicians they put their minds, hearts, voices and strings together on iconic and obscure Americana, traditional folk music, and well-crafted original songs.
Songwriter John Kribs (Racquette River Rounders, Johnny & the Triumphs, McKrells, BlueBillies) has been an Americana chart-topper in France and his songs have been heard on NPR's "Car Talk". Moody (Papa Chubby, The Steam Donkeys, McKrells) is one of the most sought after sidemen in the northeast. Greene (Dan Tyminski, D Train Williams) cut his musical teeth many years ago with his father, legendary country artist "Smokey Greene". Orion Kribs, too, first took the stage with his father (John) in his teens and has continued as a member of several bands, including his own cutting edge alt rock outfit Black Mountain Symphony.
