Dom Flemons is the "American Songster," pulling from old-time folk music to create new sounds. During the past three years he has played live for over one million people as part of his GRAMMY-winning trio, the Carolina Chocolate Drops. He plays banjo, guitar, harmonica, fife, bones, bass drum, snare drum and quills, in addition to singing. With a background in slam poetry and a wealth of concert experience, Dom is a confident, friendly entertainer who has enticed countless listeners to explore traditional American music. He is currently touring in support of his brand new album, Prospect Hill, which takes a contemporary approach to music rooted in history.
