EARLYSHOW: Ball of Wax Songs about Animals Illustrated book and CD release event

Celebrate the release of the first collection of music for kids - and the first book - from Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly with live music from many of the musicians on the CD. Everyone who comes will get a copy of the illustrated book and CD of songs about animals, featuring kids' favorites such as Recess Monkey, The Whizpops!, and Eli Rosenblatt, along with many other local musicians gamely delving into the world of music for children for the first time, including The Foghorns, Werebearcat!, Jon Rooney, Colin Ernst, GreenhornBluehorn, Colin J Nelson, and more.
Each of the fifteen songs on the CD is lovingly illustrated in the accompanying book by artists Gabriel Mintz, Nathan Shields, Keith Negley, Dejah Leger, Amy Redmond, Courtney Blazon, Michael O'Driscoll, Sam Jansons, Emiko Blalock, Scott Bilstad, Sarah Kulfan, Tim Kirkpatrick, Charles Spitzack, Laura Szumowski, and Darryl Blood.
