A Tuscan Summer on Whidbey Island
Please join us for our next cooking class on the magic isle, when we'll take the cooking outdoors and prepare some fantastic vegan, gluten-free dishes al fresco. We'll be using the North Italian countryside as our inspiration in this summer themed class. Simple preparations and lots of fresh, fragrant ingredients will give you a taste of real Italian food as we imagine it's meant to be enjoyed; outside with friends! As with all of our creations, these meals are easy to prepare and will use simple plant based ingredients which are beneficial to our health and make tasty additions to our everyday meals. Get all your cooking questions answered, learn how to maximize the nutrition in your food, and take home beautifully crafted recipe cards to add to your cooking collection. There will be food to taste, wine and beverages to sip, and new friends to meet on a beautiful island farm. We make healthy cooking simple, fun, and delicious. Join us for our first Fire and Earth Kitchen OUTDOOR cooking class, graciously hosted by our friends at Someday Farm Vegan Bed and Breakfast in Freeland! As always 100% vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free.
On the menu:
* Tuscan Quinoa with Garlic Fried Chickpeas, Basil & Arugula * Grilled Margherita Thin Crust Pizzas * Cherry Tomato Bruschetta Burgers * Creamy Handmade Vegan Gelato
