Tapestry: A Spiritual Odyssey
The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and SmithJackson Arts have successfully implemented collaborative and education outreach programs celebrating the accomplishments of African Americans in Fine Art and the Performing Arts.

"Tapestry; A Spiritual Odyssey" will continue that effort by presenting a concert paying homage to legendary musician Sylvia Olden Lee, composer Adolphus Hailstork,  and others, through music and song.

Tickets are $125. Includes complimentary valet and refreshments.

The fundraising event will feature violinist Minister Louis Farrakhan, Willis C. Patterson's Our Own Thing Chorale, Gospel Choir Testimony directed by Alvin Waddles, Baritone Daniel Washington,  A Porgy and Bess Suite featuring rising Opera stars Kimwana Doner and Nick Davis, CutTime String Quartet, and Internationally acclaimed Soprano Louise Toppin.
