Their music reaches a wide variety of audiences including Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli fans, guitar enthusiasts and lovers of string music, from bluegrass devotees, who relish nimble, clean, intricate picking to world music fans drawn to French and Gypsy accents. Jazz aficionados love the swing style and the improvisational stylings. Whether they are playing Jazz Alley, outdoor festivals or the Blue Heron Peral Django always presents a great live show.
While the members have changed and evolved over the years the core group, Neil Andersson, guitar; Michael Gray, violin; and Rick Leppanen, bass, has carried the torch. Newest members, Ryan Hoffman, guitar and David Lange, accordion, bring fresh talent and new dimension to the toe-tapping music we have all learned to love.
