Tour of Anova Architects
Join your AIACV and CSI colleagues, allied design professionals and the staff of ANOVA Architects for a special educational tour of ANOVAs new Placerville office and adjacent Fausel Professional Building.
The 18,600 square foot building, designed to meet LEED Silver, is configured by ANOVAs studio structure and speaks to the firms support of the community. It is an urban-infill project utilizing contextually appropriate materials and is uniquely adapted to the steep site topography, while preserving the citys historic past and embracing the principals of sustainability.
The four studios, Civic, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, orientate around the Fausel House
built in 1861 as the centerpiece of the complex. The pair of two-story studio wings reflects the historic house in its window wall system, further emphasizing the buildings connection to the community.
