Toronto musician Jacob Moon is a gifted singer, songwriter of award-winning pop and folk songs (Unisong, Great Lakes Song Contest, West Coast Songwriters, GMA Canada), and a master of 'live looping', a guitar style that involves layering sound on sound to make one guitar sound like an orchestra. His songwriting fits neatly alongside the work of his heroes such as Jackson Browne, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Peter Gabriel and Rich Mullins. Moon's most recent CD, a selection of cover songs, reinterprets rock hits of the 80s. Remarkably, he has won accolades from Rush, Ron Sexsmith and Queen for his highly creative and soulful musical re-imaginings.
