Doubt
Set in the Bronx in 1964, Doubt is a clash of wills and generational viewpoints between Sister Aloysius and Father Flynn. This blunt story is filled with empathy for all sides, and is less about scandal than about fascinatingly nuanced questions of moral certainty. Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play!
Director, Maureen Hawkins ("Language Art", "The Young Man From Atlanta"), returns with a brilliant cast, including Maureen Miko (Stone Soup's Artistic Director), Jaryl Draper, Reagan Dickey, and Eva Abram.
The performance runs Thursday - Saturday evenings at 8pm and Sunday matinees at 4pm from February 14 - March 1, with $12.50 previews on February 12 and 13. General admission prices are $14 -$25, $20 for seniors. All Thursdays after preview are Pay-What-You-Will. Tickets are available for purchase at www.stonesouptheatre.org, by phone at the Stone Soup Box Office at (206) 633-1883 or at www.brownpapertickets.com, 800-838-3006.
