The Partners:
Across the River Arts is dedicated to providing opportunities for emerging artists
to show and perform their work. Through group art shows and community driven
performances, we seek to encourage, nurture, and instill confidence in artists. We
are working with members of Teen Arts Group and the Fremont Abbey Arts Center
to facilitate Release.
The Fremont Abbey Arts Center is a vibrant community venue for people of all
ages and incomes to be supported in their artistic & social development through
new collaborative arts & cultural experiences. The Abbey focuses on music, dance,
visual, literary and culinary arts in formats including multi-arts performances, group
classes & workshops, individual lessons, new exhibits and artistic life celebrations.
It is a non-religious non-profit organization.
The Seattle Art Museum Teen Arts Group provides creative activities for high
school students outside the regular school day. This free program offers teens
opportunities to express their ideas in discussions, participate in tours and hands- on workshops, and gain important communication and critical thinking skills. Joining
the programs is a great way for teens to work with contemporary artists, make
their own art and meet other teens.
