Tribeca Film Festival winner, "Room 514", is a disturbing, realistic movie about a determined young female soldier who interrogates an officer accused of beating up an Arab family. The interrogation, which takes place in room 514, where the sound palette is formed only by voices and the air conditioning, proceeds agains the advice of her superors. Room 514 is a courageous, hyper-realistic drama that provides a picture of Israeli Army culture, where young soldiers discover that good and evil, black and white, don't exist. An impressive debut film.
