KEXP & Abbey Arts presents CATHEDRALS 6: a rare contemplative indie concert @ St Mark's Cathedral on Capitol Hill (1245 Tenth Ave E, not at Fremont Abbey).

This show is the sixth in the series put on by local nonprofit Abbey Arts which also hosts concerts and events at it's home venue, Fremont Abbey.

CATHEDRALS VI features Sub Pop artist Sera Cahoone, Grant Olsen (from Gold Leaves)
Tomo Nakayama (from Grand Hallway), and S (Jenn Ghetto). All artists will be performing unique sets adapted to the acoustics of this epic old unfinished Cathedral.

To create a "giant living room" effect, we offer informal seating on pews, benches, chairs, floor, or your own blankets, cushions, low chairs, etc. all around the space.  www.fremontabbey.org/cathedrals for past shows, videos, etc.

CATHEDRALS VII will be March 8th with special international guests from Berlin/Denmark and local Seattle artists.

IMPORTANT & UNUSUAL EVENT DETAILS:

NOISE:
PLEASE ACTUALLY SILENCE ALL DEVICES
TURN OFF VIBRATE ON YOUR PHONES EVEN
NO CAMERAS WITH SHUTTERS
(This goes for Press too).
Silent digital cameras ok but we really recommend you enjoy most of the show through your own 'retina screens'.

Anyone exhibiting loud or disruptive behavior during the event will be asked to leave.
No talking during the performances please, this room is very live acoustically and everyone will hear you. :-)  We are unable to provide a separate room for viewing this event if you are not able to be silent, so please plan accordingly before purchasing tickets.

KIDS:
Please add a "Parent with child" ticket (for kids 12 and under) to your cart if you plan to bring the kids! Free kids tickets are for floor seating (or on lap) so bring blankets, low chairs, etc. like at outdoor lawn festivals.  Note that these shows are very very pin drop quiet so please consider that when deciding what ages are appropriate.  Sorry, no cry room available at this venue and even voices in the lobby are audible in the space.

SEATING:
To create a "giant living room" effect, we offer informal seating on pews, benches, chairs, floor, or your own blankets, cushions, low chairs, etc. all around the space.  www.fremontabbey.org/cathedrals for past shows, videos, etc.

*NOTE: This event has limited tickets available for coupons/special offers  email arts@fremontabbey.org to confirm.
