Paquito D'Rivera -
Out Latin Jazz concert this year festures an international star and master of Bebop, Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz. A true crossover artist, Mr. D'Rivera has played with musicians as diverse as Carlos Santana and Turtle Island Quartet and is the only artist to have won Grammy Awards in both Classical and Latin Jazz categories. Paquito's "Funk Tango", winner of Best Latin Jazz Album, 2008, will set the tone for the Festival's perennial favorite Valentine's Day concert.
