Memphis International Jazz Festival
Thursday night, November 20th, the kickoff night of the first annual Memphis International Jazz Festival features James Robinson, Ruff Salad Trio, and Sandra Bray at Cafe Soul- 492 South Main Street Memphis, TN 38103. (TICKETS ONLINE NOW) Two shows 7P and 9P.


Friday night, November 21st, picks up again with an upscale plated dinner and a soulful showcase of recording artist Glenn Jones as well as jazz saxophonist Pat Register at Soul Cafe- 3557 Ridgeway Road Memphis, TN 38115.  ($45 with dinner included, TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR ONLY) Show starts 7P.


Saturday night, November 22nd, continues with performances by Keia, City Champs, and the legendary Orange Mound Jazz Messangers at Stop 345- 2345 Madison Avenue Memphis, TN 38103. (TICKETS ONLINE NOW) Show starts 7P.


Sunday night, November 23rd, concludes with a jazz brunch featuring Memphis icon Joyce Cobb at Boscos Squared- 2345 Madison Avenue Memphis, TN 38103.  (PURCHASE BRUNCH FROM MENU REQUIRED)  Brunch served 10:30A-3P.

With a foundation of style, The Memphis International Jazz Festival heralds a deep respect for the creators of the Memphis jazz standard.  The annual event takes an insightful approach to presenting fresh, bold, creative and innovative twists to Jazz while showing respect to the likes of Phineas, Memphis Slim, Mobley, Strozier, Coleman and Colie.

The 1st Annual Memphis International Jazz Festival boasts 9 Artists and 4 Venues over 4 Days in a City well known for its musical legacy.  With the addition of the Memphis International Jazz Festival, Memphis - with its unique blend of southern hospitality, good eats, long staple cotton and skilled Jazz frontmen and sidemen - establishes itself as a formidable international Jazz City well worth visiting.

The 1st Annual Memphis International Jazz Festival kicks off Thursday, November 20th with the sultry sounds of Sandra Bray at Beignet Caf and culminates Sunday with Memphis living legend Joyce Cobb at Boscos Squared.  In between, Saxophonist Pat Register brings his Jazz sound to the stage at Soul Cafe.  Adding an R&B flavor, Glenn Jones will make Friday a Jazz Night to remember.  On Saturday, Jazz enthusiasts can hear a mixture of the past, present and future as artists take to two stages at Stop 345.  Hear the mesmerizing Keia, the soulful trio City Champs and the legendary Orange Mound Jazz Messengers.  But thats not all.  Its four days of pure Jazz during the 1st Annual Memphis International Jazz Festival.  You dont want to miss it.
