FILMMAKING WORKSHOP
REQUIREMENTS
No previous experience in making films is required.
You will need the following: External Hard Drive for safe storing of your files and a back up copy of your film A Mini-DV tape or Memory Card - TBA
PREPARATION for Friday
Come prepared with three of your best short story concepts (ideas for a miniature film) including the Character(s) and the Situation. In conceiving your concept you must consider the production limits and time constrains of the workshop do not 'write' into your film plane crushes, or car chases. Your idea should be contained within a single, easily obtainable location, and with minimal number of actors. It is not the scope, but the originality of your concept that will pull your audiences in.
In thinking about your story concepts consider a potent World of your story (the setting) and interesting characters in unique situation.
