About the Development: In her residency at IRT, performer Jessica Ranville, along with director John Robert Hurley and multi-disciplinary artists Haruna Lee and Paul Lieber, will ask how the connection between theatre artist and audience can be deepened in a time of social distancing. Through solo work in the space, rooftop writers meetings, and virtual scenework, the group will build the world of a lonely space traveler zooming through the cosmos, making sense of their solitude and attempting to build something to honor those that came before. Streaming from the IRT theatre, Ranville will interact with performers projected onto the stage in this solo-ish space drama about solitude, connection and creating your own legacy.
