comeback (ˈkʌmˌbæk) n. 1. a return to the higher status, prosperity, or success of a former time.
Jomama Jones, the 1970s soul-singing superstar, returns stateside from her years overseas for a breathtaking comeback concert filled with story, song, sequins, and self-discovery. This interactive concert event takes you on a spirited journey of regeneration using original pop, R&B, and rock music created by Daniel Alexander Jones and Bobby Halvorson. A Boston-based community choir joins Jomama in this electric, soul-filled evening

Jomama has come home to the US to join us for four nights in Roxbury's Hibernian Hall. It was years ago that she traded in the top of the pop charts for the simple life in Switzerland. Her stories of exile and triumph lift us up and remind us that it's never too late to make a comeback.
Just last month, Jomama wowed community members with a surprise appearance in Dorchester at a special, intimate evening known as Jomama's House. After a day of story telling and cooking together with neighbors, Jomama performed a teaser of some of her most heartfelt songs for the whole neighborhood, wetting our appetite for more of her glorious voice and sky-high heels.
Time Out New York says "Jomama Jones speaks to the comeback in us all!" From what we've seen and heard, we couldn't agree more.
