A Harvest Meal on Whidbey Island
Fire and Earth Kitchen is Whidbey Island's newest resource for learning to cook simple, creative meals from scratch. Through cooking classes, food coaching, and personal chef services we are on a mission to make delicious vegan, gluten-free dishes an option for everyone. Our next group class will take place in a unique & beautiful space just outside Langley. It will focus on the changing of the seasons, and how to maintain the sense of warmth, coziness, and comfort we traditionally associate with meals rich in meat and dairy, using healthful plant-based ingredients instead. We will cover the preparation of healthy staples such as quinoa, kale, mushrooms, and sweet potatoes, and how to make a delicious dessert that is both simple and healthful. Come indulge with us in a menu that will recharge and nourish you, while maintaining the rich meals we cherish during this time of the year. Get all your cooking questions answered, learn which foods hold medicinal benefits, and take home beautifully crafted recipe cards to add to your cooking collection. As always, all dishes will be 100% vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free. We make healthy cooking simple and delicious. Join us!
