ADA Day: Accessibility for California Licensure
Accessibility in California is quite different in 2013. Interpretation is probably the number 1 issue in accessibility, especially, consistency of interpretation. Another critical issue is establishing priorities for which barrier to remove. It is possible to develop a rational interpretation and assessment protocol for accessibility issues that will help establish priorities?

Explore the changes in accessibility standards Review accessibility priority systems from DOJ and others Examine the primary reasons why accessible designs fail in the field Review examples of field failures and design disconnects despire correct drawings.
