Discover good mood food. We'll explore the commonly overlooked causes of feeling worried, scattered and burnt out. Through the lens of functional medicine, we'll talk about the nutritional deficiencies, blood sugar imbalances and inflammatory triggers which can lead to a wired nervous system. We'll cook and eat together to foster connection, using food as medicine to manage stress and anxiety. Our menu will consist of: grass-fed skirt steak with green garlic chimichurri over smashed olive oil potatoes; tahini tossed beets, and a bright spring asparagus soup.

Instructor: Antonella Aguilera-Ruiz, ND

This is a hands-on class with a menu that is gluten-free. There will be a short lecture portion followed by cooking and more discussion on the health topic.

Students will enjoy a sample of each recipe and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to those 21 and over.

Cancellation Policy: Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice.

Complimentary parking is available for students in the Co-ops parking garage at 28th & S streets. Please do not park in the lot in front of the store
