Druzy Rose is a seven piece band born in a basement of Minneapolis, Minnesota in November 2018. Although driven primarily by dreamy lyrics about the life and times of a part time party girl, full time cynic, the band also features high energy performances on alto and tenor saxophone, piano, synth, guitar, electric and upright bass, production, and drums. Seamlessly combining the genres of electro pop and piano driven indie rock, Druzy Rose creates music to soothe the troubled collective consciousness in a manner that is both charmingly whimsical and brutally raw.
The Local Music Scene is a rotating cast of some of the best improvisers in the Twin Cities who use the music of local artists as inspiration for improvised scenes.
