With Lori Dokken on the keys, Jenny Case on bass, and Dustin Jensen on drums, Ginger takes you on a jazz-pop cabaret adventure celebrating the glorious nasty in us all. Since 2006, Mistress Ginger has been bringing her cabaret magic to a variety of Twin Cities venues, from the Bryant-Lake Bowl to the Ordway Center, with musical collaborators including Rick Carlson, Lori Dokken, and George Maurer. With a passion for storytelling through song, she takes her audiences on whimsical journeys full of heart and imagination. Lori Dokken (pianist/musical director) is vocalist, pianist, arranger, performance coach, and producer. She has played and appealed to the patrons of every major and minor music venue in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Her credits include writer and publishing member of ASCAP; vocal arranger for Three Hits And A Miss 2002 CD; musical director and arranger for hit cabaret shows; executive producer and producer of 2001 CD release, The Girls; producer, musical director, and arranger for six RSVP Cruise Vacations Main Stage productions; headliner for two RSVP Cruise Vacations Main Stage productions; and executive producer, vocalist, and pianist for two CD releases in 2005. She has also worked with or opened for Bobby McFerrin, Jane Oliver, Beatrice Arthur, Jennifer Holiday, Lucie Arnaz, Sally Struthers, Sandy Duncan, Eartha Kitt, Carole King, and Tony Bennett. Jenny Case (bass guitar, backup vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and teacher. She currently plays bass with the Twin Cities punk-pop staples, The Flamin Ohs, and performs with many other bands and productions in the area. Additionally, she is the Founder/Executive Director of She Rock, She Rock, a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls, women, and gender non-binary and trans folks through the art of music.
